Sec. 1152.101. SOLE AUTHORITY TO REGULATE VARIABLE CONTRACTS. The commissioner has sole authority to regulate the issuance and sale of a variable contract under:(1) this chapter; and(2) rules adopted under Section 1152.002.Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 2, eff. June 1, 2003.
