(a) Grant funds may be used to pay the costs of a one-time salary supplement for the distinguished researcher that is necessarily incurred to attract the distinguished researcher to the eligible institution.
(b) The OOG will not award grant funds to pay the costs of any fringe benefits or fringe supplement.
