The project sponsor will, as directed by the department delegate, maintain the documentation showing work completed under this chapter in a project file. If the project sponsor is a local government, prior to approval of the environmental review document or documentation of categorical exclusion, the local government will forward the project file to the department as directed by the department delegate.
