Department staff will promptly review a complaint to determine if the complaint meets the minimum requirements of a lemon law or a warranty performance complaint.
(1) If department staff cannot determine whether a complaint meets the minimum lemon law or warranty performance requirements, the complainant will be contacted for additional information.
(2) If department staff determines that the complaint meets the minimum lemon law or warranty performance requirements, the complaint will be processed in accordance with this subchapter.
