Sec. 25.026. APPOINTMENT OF CITY MANAGER. If the city manager form of government is adopted, the governing body of the municipality shall appoint a city manager within 60 days after the election day and by ordinance shall set the manager's salary.Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
