A contractor must comply with all requirements of Texas Estates Code, Title 3. In addition, if a court with probate jurisdiction within a contractor's service area has specific local rules in addition to the requirements of the Texas Estates Code, the contractor must comply with those rules to the best of its ability, to the extent that the court's local rules do not conflict with provisions of the Texas Estates Code.
