Sec. 53.037. ACTING FOR ANOTHER BAILIFF. The bailiffs may act for each other and shall act for each other when requested to by a judge or the sheriff. A bailiff acting for another bailiff may not receive additional compensation.Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.
