The internal audit committee shall be considered a standing committee, and members shall be appointed by the chair at the beginning of each year. The chair shall designate additional ad hoc committees as necessary. The term of an ad hoc committee shall be for the year in which the ad hoc committee is appointed or until the work of the ad hoc committee is completed if within the year.
