Sec. 119.005. STATE TAXATION OF SAVINGS BANKS. The state shall tax a domestic or federal savings bank doing business in this state in the same manner and to the same extent as a corresponding savings and loan association.Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1008, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
