Rule 702.315 How Soon Following the Completion of An Investigation Involving A Child Fatality in Which Abuse Or Neglect Has Been Confirmed Will the Department Provide the Information Required by This Subchapter?

(a) When possible, the department will provide the records that are required to be provided under this subchapter within 10 days of the date the investigation is completed or the records are requested, whichever occurs later. If the department is unable to meet the 10-day deadline, the department will provide the records as soon as possible thereafter and will advise the requestor of the date on which the department anticipates having all the records available to release. (b) Nothing in this subchapter will prevent the department from providing information prior to the completion of an investigation to the extent the information is available and its release is authorized under state or federal law or these rules.
